The founder
Growfully was built by an HR leader who has actually run a people function inside a scaling company, not by a platform that generates plans from a template.
I am Felix Bindels, and I built Growfully because I kept watching capable people stall for reasons that had nothing to do with their ability.
For more than thirteen years I have worked in HR and L&D: leadership development, performance management, coaching, recruitment strategy, organizational design, and culture. Most recently I built and ran the people function of a MedTech scale-up on my own, from clinical stage through CE mark and into commercial launch. That is the environment Growfully is built for: a company growing faster than its people can grow into it.
The problem was never a lack of ambition or content. It was design. Development was treated as an event, a course or a review, when behavior only changes through repetition, reflection, and accountability tied to real work. So I built the H.I.L.P. Method to make growth a repeatable system rather than a one-off, and I tested it with more than fifty beta participants before offering it to companies.
Growfully is deliberately founder-led. Every plan is reviewed by me, every reflection cycle is run by me. That is a constraint, and it is the point: it keeps the work personal, honest, and accountable to a result, which is exactly what a scaling deep-tech team needs and rarely gets from off-the-shelf training.
What I believe about development
Nobody is short of information. Growth comes from repeated behavior tied to real work, not from another course completed and forgotten.
A plan that ignores how a specific person learns is a plan for nobody. The diagnostic comes first, always.
Autonomy matters, but self-paced usually means never-paced. Real reflection with a real person is what turns intention into change.
